      I can NEVER get SP

I hve been trying WILD for a long time now, but all i get is the tinglly sensation. My leg gets really heavy. I i don't know you mean by a wave.

I tried it last time and it felt like i was melting into the bed ( also heard a high frequency sound for a second ). Then it kept on repeating it self.

and what do i do when i get in to SP state?

I haven't gotten SP in my past two WILDs but I did this morning for some reason o.O. But I also don't get HI sometimes.

When I'm entering SP I feel slight pain in the back of my head/neck then that lasts for about 3-5 seconds, just wait it out. Afterwards I feel like my body isn't paralyzed anymore and that's how I know I'm in a dream and then can get up and walk around. You will most likely have to do things to stabilize the dream...rubbing my hands works for me and saying "I'm in a dream.." a few times.

Oh and btw, if you 'get up' in your dream too early, you most likely will be messed up. As in you wont be able to open your eyes correctly and might feel physically 'retarded' - that happens to me anyways.

      Goodluck buddy!

So that must be my problem! This has happened in all of my three successful WILDs. Thanks.

As for the SP I kind of skip it. I focus more on the HI and by becoming involved in that the SP will come naturally. It's a tricky state which I'm trying to perfect since you have to be sort of half-conscious to do it and I mostly fall asleep. Originally when I was waiting on SP I would never get it because I was thinking about it too often. Like you I would get a little tingly, feel like I was melting into the bed, but not much else. I could also move if I wanted to. Once you do get into SP, (though I'm by no means an expert), I think you should just relax and let it all wash over you. Don't resist it or think about how SP is very scary, etc. It is my opinion that SP does not have to be scary; my experiences with it have been more relaxing than anything. As I've just learned I've been getting up too early. I would get up after I felt a lot of vibrations around my body (you'll know what I mean when you get them) suddenly stop. I don't feel a "shift" or something. It feels as though I never left the bed. I guess that part is something you have to experiment with, as do I.

If any more experienced WILDers object to what I said, just correct me below.

It's tricky and hard to do but don't worry you will get there. SP works best when you're exhausted so just umm make your self tired

IT's best to do when you WBTB.

I did a WBTB with WILD this morning........tried WILDING for about 2 hours, nothing more than numbness. I decide to actually go to bed and set my alarm for every 15 minutes, hoping it would make me very tired so I'd wake up and instantly be in SP, but to my surprise about 5 minutes of actually trying to sleep I get SP -_-. I guess I'm trying too hard WILDing

Bah it comes in time, all I can say is practise. To be honest WILD is hard to do and not something I'd recommend for beginners. Try something easier like MILD and then use a WILD when you are more experienced.

Ah WILDing is much easier for me than DILDs, I can NEVER recognize my dream signs. RC's didn't work for me and the MILD tech didn't help.

I've gotten 3 LDs this week from trying the WILD.

Last night I tried to get into SP, but after a while of the tingling, my back felt really uncomfortable, like a leg pressing into it. So I turned around and fell asleep...

What if I had waited a while longer?

That happens to me all of the time; also with FA's. I hate that. How do you fix this? Do you wait it out for 3 seconds or something? When it happened, I kind of just popped up when the dream formed out of excitement.

I guess I'm trying too hard WILDing
When I actually try to WILD, it never happens. I guess it's like trying to go to sleep (well, technically, it is I guess). I have yet to find that fine line between being conscious, and going to sleep.

What's weird is that I never "try" to get into SP but always just find myself in it occasionally. My mind sort of wakes up but I realize I can hear myself snoring and am paralyzed. As to what to do once you are in it, I would say just observe it and keep reminding yourself you are asleep.

It can get pretty intense sometimes and your mind might try to convince you that all sorts of strange things are happening...just stick it out and keep thinking "I am just asleep".

I've WILD a good few times, and I never had SP. I don't know why, it's completely uncommon. I really want it actually.
