I don't record my dreams anymore and i feel bad about it.....replies are appreciated

i've always been interested in lucid dreaming, and i started recording my dreams daily last june. it was great, and i felt since it was summer i had a lot of time to devote to lucid dreaming. but in january i stopped recording my dreams.....i don't think i have had a lucid dream since. and the obvious question is "why did you stop recording your dreams?". simple....i'm still in high school and i guess the stress of all the work involved got to me and i felt i didn't have time to write them down in the morning among other reasons. the main reason i feel bad is because i have waked up with great, vivid, and interesting dreams and never had an opportunity to record them. i am definitely going to make a valid effort to get back on track with this in the summer, but yet i still feel guilty and sad how i went about 3 months without recording a single dream, and i don't know how to start off again............help is appreciated, thanks.

spring break right now is making things easier for me but earlier during track it seem impossible to write down stuff after practice every day, just wake up a little earlier than normal, for me that works. I have to get up at about 5:30am every morning for school so I just got up at 5:25 to allow that extra time to write stuff down. my recall suffered during the start of track and just started to pick up last week since I started allowing more time. but of course you may have the luxury of waking up later so dont think it cant be done. I am just starting to get out of this bad recall, school really does take a toll.

This will happen. It goes in cycles. Don't feel bad, just try to make more time if it is important to you. Focus on what is important to you at this time.
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.

I never did record my dreams, and I feel bad about it. Maybe I'll start doing it during the summer holidays.

If keeping up with your DJ is important to you find a few minutes to write. Sometimes when I'm pressed for time I take my DJ into the bathroom in the morning and *caringe* write on the toilet. That way I get a minute or two when the memories are still fresh.

Or, if your recall is good enough you can jot down a few notes while you wait for a class to start.
