Other than that I agree to let your dreams slip away forgotten is to lose half of your life (and some of the more interesting bits of it at that).
I used to have social anxiety, that's cool what you do. My anxiety had altered my life dramatically, I am a completely different person then what I think I would have been otherwise. In fact in another parallel universe somewhere I believe another me had grew up without the anxiety interruption and if we ever met we'd realize how the same face could smile so differently. I always thought it interesting, how every twist in the road could have lead us to become something else. I'd like to use lucid dreaming to maybe find more stability as well, since I'm better but not completely.

Wow, I'm impressed that some of the members here lucid dream for social problems and fears... This is why I lucid dream... (I'll give you a list)

      1. Lucid dreaming is fun
      2. It's something that can be practiced and mastered.
2a. It's something that can be practiced and mastered only using your mind... You don't have to be fast or strong, which means that anyone can have lucid dreams...
      3. It gives me something to look forward to when I go to sleep. (I used to say, I don't want to go to sleep... Now when the day's over, I get excited.)
      4. Two lives in one.
      5. I spend a little less than a third of my life sleeping. (I don't want to be conscious for only 2/3 of my life)
      6. Lucid dreaming is interesting.
      7. Lucid dreaming feels like it's surreal.
      8. There's an unlimited amount of possibilities when you lucid dream.

To explore. It's curious, to explore my mind and try things that aren't physically possible, and see how my mind handles it.

      Yeah, and it's fun.

True, especially if it's morning when you wake up after that dream, so you can keep that feeling without having to ignore it after a while to fall asleep again.

I'm in a good mood for at least the entire morning if I had a LD which ended while still being lucid.

Why didn't you just get her number before she left? Seems obvious.

      1. Read First Dream Goal.

      2. It's awesome, and you can literally do it in your sleep.

I have no better hobbies to persue, plus I could really really use the confidence it would give me from mastering it, specually around DC's and improving my people skills, my main worry right now is getting out on my own in the world. It scares me alot.

I wanna be the very best
      Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
