      First post and LD

      Hi to everyone in these forums.

      I have been thinking about lucid dreaming before, but yesterday I was really planning to try it. I went to bed and put my alarm to 1,5 hour before I usually wake.

      So I woke up brush my tooth, did a small washing and put my school things together. After all that i went to bed again, i didn't used any special technics just went to sleep. I saw about 2 dreams before i figured out that i was dreaming. And if i finally did it was quite random - i started to think when and were i should hide my dream journal.

      My LD consisted of me running in beach jumping around like i was on the moon and flying(using some kind of stupid frog style ). My dream ended after i had flied on some sort of mountains ledge and started running there. During running my dream started to flicker and i was thinking that my alarm clock is making it happen and i have to go to school .

      Well after waking up and watching what time it is I was quite disappointed, i had only slept for half an hour and there was still plenty of time left. And one more thing that i noticed was that i was afraid to to something bigger because maybe it will woke me up.

      Congratulations on your first lucid dream!


      Its great to see new people into lucid dreaming because its definitely a great skill to pick up.


      Keep at it, soon you'll start having them more consistently and they'll become more vivid and realistic.

      Don't worry about, you'll increase your "lucid skill" every time you have an LD I find. The difference in my ability from my first lucid dream to my most recent one is huge. You'll get there eventually.

      Congrats on the LD. The jumping sounds like fun. And I love flying in LDs. Your LDs will get longer with practice.
