Very weird sleep paralysis experience, my hand was burning!

so a few nights ago, like each night, I try to enter the dream world using some random wild technique.. I was only getting started, relaxing my body and putting it to sleep. I could feel this sleepy tingly sensation in my hand, that normally leads to numbness. But this time, the tingly sensation got stronger and stronger, until the point it felt like my hand was burning. Like my one hand was in a fire. I couldn't smell the burned skin or anything, but it really felt as if my hand was burning! It hurt ALOT. I was 100% sure my hand wasn't really burning, and I was assuming it was just a side-effect of going into sp while remaining conscious.. but this extreme burning sensation didn't go away! I even had my eyes open.

It wasn't until I moved my arm, and broke the sp, that the feeling dissapeared.. just like that, just like I woke up from a dream!

so whats going on? why is my hand burning? and why did it do so much pain? my hand was perfectly fine afterwards, and in real life I have never had that much pain in my hand from burning!

      Well..

That's one good reason that's happening. I was kind of thinking maybe you have a fear of fire maybe? I think I get the same type of feeling sometimes can't really remember though, been a while since that's happened. Have you ever read any dream work books?
