      Sleep Cult - electronica concept album

      I wasn't sure where to put this, but I wanted to share it.

      Yesterday I wrote two songs in GarageBand on my friend's MacBook, and I got the idea to try to do a whole album of them. I've had an idea for a story about lucid dreaming for a long time, but I've never been able to write anything for it, so I figured I should just tell it through music.

      I'm probably going to get to work on it again today and then again tomorrow night (which will be the perfect time for composing music based on dreaming, haha).

      Nice, songs about lucid dreams are hard to come by and they're usually nice and surreal

      Now am going to ruin this page lol.

      I must say they are good songs but i think you could do with using a different program as garge band only allows you to do so much, i recommend either reason or protools, with these programs you'll be able to really produce what you want as reason has more ambient sounds giving more of an atmosphere to the tracks.

      I have only one thing about the songs, they need to be longer and tbh i think more build up. If you start with the drums but have them progress with one of the synth melodies over it i think you will have created a fucking piece of art

      I do music for a living and i don't want to sound like i no it all but i like watching people like you progress, you have talent!

      Nice songs. Other than GarageBand, you could use a more advanced program called FL Studio.
