      Dream and Matrix

In the matrix neo could do whatever he wanted because he knew it didn't exist and his mind was fully convinced that nothing was real and it rejected the code. In dreams we can stick our hand through glass or go flying because we know that the world only exists in our mind and we are so sure of it. Some people don't have the confidence to do certain things. They don't themselves and then what they do doesn't work. I wonder if we truly believe beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we can do anything in the real world, then we could do it. Our physical bodies are bound by all these laws that set up barriers, but if we could raise our minds past them do you think that we could go flying or walk through walls. If we truly know that nothing exist and that anything is possible without a single doubt, like we do in our dreams, could we "override" the worlds physical laws. One example, What about the accounts of people being able to bend spoons with there mindsor various other mysterious talents. Are they only breaching the surface? If you believe you can do it than you can? just some thoughts please give me yours...

      firstly, neo doesnt reject code,
anyway back to the subject of this post,
i seriously doubt what you are thinking is possible, and even if it was posssible it isnt possible for you or i, somebody would have to be brought up all thier life beliving that nothing is real, after about 1 years old we already have laws and boundries that we use to see the world and understand it. so that sort of cancels out the last bit becuase you cant teach a 1 year old, and if thier already bound by rules then your too late.
what i do belive however is that we can change the way we think and view things to have a direct effect on the physical world/ err sorta. bleh dont listen to me lol
I guess people are not ready for the whole new world that awaits them.

      Hey sephiroth..

Its not an entirely new concept, there are religions and philosophies based in this idea of the world being what we collectively believe it to be.

There is some merit in the idea, but I think its a bit more complex than that... in my opinion anyway..
But then my opinion isn't exactly set on this...

At the very least, its an intriguing concept.
BTW, did you know the Matrix guys (Wachowski (?) brothers) are lucid dreamers too? Makes you think about the story line... makes a lot of sense actually..

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

Yeah, I think they have got much inspiration from the lucid dreams.
      Are you dreaming?

293, not entirely, spoon bending can be done...through telekinesis, and on my recent studies tk would be our 6th sense, and EVERY human is capable of doing it, that breaks 1 law i know which is law of motion, and is possible i've seen it done. nothing fake..but real. 8)
