I've done that before. I think its not nessecarily the sitting that does it but the taking the few moments to absorb the dreamscene that makes the dream vivid again, in my case. |

Its the third time Ive tried it. Everything was getting blurry in the dream last night so I figured I would spin. I spun around once then figured let me try the sitting down thing again. I stopped spinning, which wasnt helping, and just took a seat right in the hallway of my old school in the dream. Everthing cleared right up and I was back in full lucid force. |

Seems to be different for everyone. Spinning overwhelms my senses. I like to focus on the dream environment while rubbing my hands. |

I kneel and focus on the ground, keeping an eye on those details usually helps me. I've only had to stabilize a couple of times, though. I tried to spin to keep a dream going once and it faded right away, and another time I tried to teleport by spinning and it was working, but my alarm clock went off. I tried to ignore it but it woke me up anyways |

It'll probably work for me better than spinning, stuff like that mostly does. |

OMG I cant believe it. Im new to the place and didnt think other ppl did the spinning thing to. |

Now that you say that, I just realised that I always sit down once I realise I'm dreaming. Sitting down sort of clears my mind while I really focus on the little details around me. But I still spin around and rub my hands just to be sure |

Whenever i begin to lose visuals ill lay down and start rolling, or feeling around on the ground and focus on the texture. This generally helps me get an image of whatever is around me enough so that I can 'open' my eyes and keep dreaming. |
