I've been pursuing ld's alot. Well I've had a few but none of them feel real. It still feels like a sketchy dream, that I can barely remember it was a LD. Is this the same for everyone? And how real does it compare to real life when you wake up? |

It’s probably because your awareness wasn’t too high which lead to you not remembering much after you woke up. Though, when your control and awareness is at its highest.. There is no difference between the waking life and being in a dream. I always found it to be more real than waking life for some reason. Everything just seems more clear and vibrant. |

Lucid dreams are still just dreams. While you are having them, they seem completely real, as real as waking life. However, after you wake up, they are recalled as typical dreams are recalled - if you don't commit them to paper, you are likely to forget them. Remembering what you did in your lucid dream is not the same as remembering what you had for dinner last night - this seems to a common misconception among beginners. While lucid dreams are slightly more memorable due simply to their novelty and the excitement they arouse, ultimately they are as fragile as any dream memory. |

Back in my prime, it was as real as waking life, but it takes a while to get there. |

Most of my dreams feel as real as life. I've many memories of my dreams. I'd say I can remember parts of it whole segments of 10% of my dreams. I recall dreams I had years back still, some in vivid detail. |
