      Back

Well, after absence from the forums, I'm back, and sad to say that there has been little improvement for me.

I'll have the occational "Oh wow! I'm dreami-" *wake up*

      But apart from that, nothing.

I just tried another wild, and after a bit I felt some kind of shift in my body. Not sure what it was, but it was like a blanket somehow. Anyway. I tried to imagine myself doing things, and after a while, I'd notice that they were quite real, but after that, I'd sort of jolt back and be aware of myself in bed. One time, one of the characters I was imagining said something really random that I'm pretty sure I didn't make up in my concious mind. It was a dragon, and it said "I AM A RIGHT ANGLE DRAGON" and then I jolted back, as I explained earlier. Any idea what's going on with these mini dreams?

      Thanks...

      Hey Scar.

So, you wake up right in the middle of the time you're saying "I'm dreaming? Ok, maybe your subconscious isn't used to the preparation, I find it strange how you're waking up like that. Here's a tip, calm down, if you're too excited or anything, that is the reason you're waking up. Just stay fully calm and relaxed and everything will be easier than it is right now.

Secondly, how experienced are you at Lucid Dreaming? Because to simplify it, WILD takes a lot of experience and knowledge of the realm you're trying to throw yourself into. Don't worry, the same thing happens with me. You happened to jolt back to awareness right after your mind takes control itself? I asked someone about this before, and someone told me that it's a certain state of the mind Hypnagogic State. They told me, a good way to increase the effect of that state is to use the method of breathing. In my guess, this is meditation. Try it, experimentation is good in a lot of ways.

And welcome back! It's always good to greet someone back to the community.

I get mini dreams a few times before I actually get into a full fledged WILD. They only last a second or two and I wake up again. I keep at it though. I know that if I keep at it my body will soon be asleep enough to allow a full dream. With me, sometimes it can take up to 6 mini LD's before I get a WILD. So just keep trying. You'll get there if you persist.
