      Sleppiness WHILE Dreaming?

Have you ever been tired, sleepy, in a dream?

Last night I was taking an AP Test in my dream (lol) and was very tired, I put my head down because I couldnt stay "awake" and thought "I knew I should've listened to everyone who told me to go to sleep early.

Why does this happen, and has it ever happened to you? Perhaps it is affected by tiredness outside of the dream.

I'm never sleepy in my dreams for some reason. I always feel completely relaxed and awake. It feels natural though so I have no problem with it.

That happens to me occasionally when I'm dead tired in a dream, never a lucid dream though.

If I was I guess I would just summon a magic carpet and lay down on it while I flew around.

I suppose if you're body is that in need of rest it comes up in a dream. Logically working it out, you could say it's another excuse for why exercise is good for the mind.

This has happened to me before. It was funny. I was in my bed (so it was a FA), the light was on, so I could hardly keep my eyes open. I was like "wtf I'm so sleepy". I took out my hand from under the pillow and there was a small hair dancing on my finger. Then I was like, "lol, I must be dreaming" but I was so tired I just lost consciousness. Perhaps the REM phase was over?

I think this is all in the mind. Because I have dreams where I would try to run, but I would run very slow and my legs seemed very tired and I couldn't go fast at all. In real life im a very good runner and have good condition and im never physicaly tired, so this was weird.

Sometimes in my dreams, it feels like someone knocks me out, but this only happens when I go to another dream. Then there are other times when I'll suddenly fall asleep in the dream and wake up in real life.

I sometimes experience sleepiness in dreams, lucid and non-lucid. In my experience they happen either early in the night, right before I wake up for the day, or when I am physically exhausted in waking life.

I just had this kind of sleepy dream just now. I was awake and walking around in the house but was sleepy and could hardly focus on anything. I kept dozing off in the dream while I was peeing in the toilet and started to hallucinate. I told myself it wasn't real and that I was too tired.
