Thread: Your most memorable lucid dream?

I've had about 5-10 lucid dreams my entire life and have only recently attempted inducing them. When I was younger, most of my lucid dreams would consist of me realizing it was a dream and then finding an attractive woman and having sex with her there on the spot-- even if it was in public, I'd tell myself, who cares it's a dream?

However, one of my most memorable lucid dreams was when I first flew. At first I only got like 10 feet above the ground outside on the street. I got control of it and eventually began flying over homes very fast. I live in Las Vegas so the surrounding area is desert and in my dream it was early morning. I just remember flying over the desert when the sun was about to rise and it was beautiful and very exciting.

So what are your most memorable lucid dreams?

I was walking around while I kept hearing a voice telling me I was lucid. I was walking around slowly pearing round every corner. The wallpaper of the walls were pink with white patterns of them.

It was a really long one, but I have my reasons for lucid dreaming that I dont think anyone in the world knows about. Only one person knows at least half of it. she's a member! (you know who you are) But anyway I was looking for someone and was so close to finding him. And met a lot of awesome strange people and went sledding down a huge hill onto a frozen lake before I found someone very important to finding the other person I'm trying to find. It lasted a really long time. It felt like all night, but I dont know how long it really lasted. I would have a lot more luck finding this person if I could get lucid and have just a smidgen of control when it actually happens.

My dead dog, who I miss, was a successful dreamsign and I realized I was lucid in my house and got to hug her again. I went to go tell my sister, who is also interested in LDing, and when I told her she said, "I know this is a dream. This is MY dream. You're in MY dream." which in and of itself was awesome. Then the DC of my mom came in and was super excited for me. I tried to use a mirror to teleport but failed. Instead I was in my backyard, where I used to lie and look at the sky when I was younger. I raised my arms into the sky and took off. Those are the basics of it, the full entry in my DJ is like 2.5 pages long haha I flew three times in that dream

this wasn't a good one but I had it when I was about 9 (truly my first LD) and have somewhat been interested in dreams ever since then, I found out about LD's last year on a random yahoo answers question


all I remember is being at school (elementary school) waiting in line to go to some thing in the library.for some reason I knew it was a dream and I told the people in my class they were all in my dream.They laughed at me and told me I was dumb.I wanted to destroy them so I woke myself up lol.

This one was a couple, or maybe a few years ago now. It was the morning after I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for the first time (on SKY).

I was near my block and started jumping over the fences like I normally do, but I noticed I was jumping higher than usual. I realised I was Dreaming and walked away from the block. I found myself on a beach, golden sun shining down, and no one around. I started flying around just a few feet from the sand. Then I remembered that I had read somewhere how interesting it is to touch water in a Dream. So I landed in the surf, with the water only up to my ankles, and started running my hands through the water. It was quite possibly the strangest texture I've ever experienced - Dreaming, or otherwise. Good times.
