Most of the time I close my eyes I can't open them. I'm still in my dream body, I can move hand feel things. Also when I get too exited, everything fades to black but I'm still in the dream. This is also a DS for me, but a bad one. Is there a way for me to see again or am I pretty much screwed. |

How can I fix sudden blindess in lucids.
You loose yourself, you reappear
You suddenly find you got nothing to fear
Alone you stand with nobody near
When a trembling distant voice, unclear
Startles your sleeping ears to hear
That somebody thinks they really found you.

If you continue to approach this blindness as you do, you'll find yourself getting the same outcome. ie. that you can't see anything.
If you start to approach this as something that isn't an obstacle, then you may find that it is something that you can snap out of easily.
Telling yourself before you go to sleep, that if the situation arises, you are going to transcend it without effort (or with effort if you feel so inclined), will reinforce subliminally.You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

I find that when my vision gets blurry or I lose sight completely it works to focus on one point. I usually rub my hands together, focus on them, and build outward from there, but I have also focused on points in the distance to some success.
Try to get any imagery you can (flashes of lights, shapes), and focus in on those. Read up on WILD techniques to help here. It might be tough, but I think the best thing to do is to try to prolong the dream as best you can, and eventually it will come.

I woudn't say pretty much, but a bit if you don't peacefully try to cancel out this terror, or kind of terror.

I have the same problem occasionally, one way I found how to get out of it is to like rip my eye lids off, that actually did work for me once, another is try to see through your eye lids, just close your eyes completely (sometimes I have like a part of one open and thats all I can do) and really just try and let everything come back to you, or you can lay down and start the dream over again, or you can try to visualise the scene yourself, you have good skills of visualisation in dreams if you do it right.
