      Please help

This is a follow up post concering the one no one bothered answering. The first post I thought it was a fluke, and now I still do.

Last night as soon as my head hit the pillow literally in just seconds I starting seeing something. It was just like being sleep deprived and seeing stuff early. It took me a couple of second to realize what I was seeing.

It was a car and it unexpectably turned over. I opened my eyes sure I hadn't fell asleep. I believe this is linked with my persuit of lucid dreaming after giving it up for some time.

      Please give advice.

      advice?...you were just experiencing H.I. Hypno...something Imagery.

If it is HI, it means you are about to enter REM sleep...The sleep in which you have the most vivid dreams. If you get this at the start of the night...you are probably sleep deprived. Because usually REM would appear 5-6 hours into sleep.

Any specific help you want with this idea?

(maybe be less agressive next time you want help here too! Im not trying to be offensive...but having just looked up your first post...it can be quite tiresome answering common questions. Maybe it was just looked over.)

Yes I know without a doubt it's HI. I just don't know why. I sure I'm not sleep deprived. I've been sleeping a similar way for years but I never had this happen to me in under 15 seconds. Could exaustion cause this?

I apologize if I may have sounded agressive, but it ticks me off when questions go ignored.

Exhaustion could cause it, or if you haven't had a chance to really settle down and relax, your mind might just still be in an active state while your body is tired. You mentioned this has happened before, just not so quickly, right? If you're doing something mentally stimulating right before bed (reading an intense book, playing on the computer, having an intellectual discussion), you have to give yourself some time to wind down before going to sleep.

If you're thinking this might happen again, take some time before bed to just relax. Put on some calming music, you could pull out some light reading, do a little drawing, meditate, and just let the cares of the day float off. It can be especially hard if you're stressed out or emotional, but once you go to bed, do what you can do put that behind you. I'm not saying you were stressed out, but if you are, just do what you can to relax before laying your head on the pillow.
