      Emo

OK, does this statement make sense?

"An emo will have better lucid dreams"

An emo is basically someone who is really emotional by the way. And emotions and dreams go hand in hand right? So if you're extremely emotional all the time, it's going to have a big effect on your dreams, right? That doesn't necessarily mean lucidity, but if you made it into a dream sign, it would create a big one, of course anyone could make a dream sign out of emotion, but it would be stronger for all those emos because they're just too emotional like, all the time! Better yet, they won't even need to do a reality check, the emotion is a reality check, if it feels like you're to piss through your eyes due to sadness, then you're possibly dreaming and then you can ask yourself the question.

Maybe not slitting wrists or stopping your breathing, but yeah. It probably doesn`t work like that anyway, it`s only a guess throgh logical facts after all.

I'm not innately emotional, but is it credible to suggest that if I start acting like a Drama Queen, I will have more lucids?

Curious to know whether you're just secretly trying to be funny or not, I will answer you. No you will not, because most drama queens are just acting, whether it's on stage or just seeking attention, it's still pretend no matter how serious you look. I actually said this before, you were just trying to make me look like an idiot a bit quickly. But despite saying all that, you could generate a placebo so feel free to try it if you wish.

emo= attention seekers. they just want people to feel sorry for them. I'm only saying this from my experience maybe there are some real emo's but all the ones I see just want to be cool and bitch about life.

I am not at all emotional and almost always logical even in my dreams. I still have extremely vivid and lucid dreams. I think it has more to do with your imagination and creativity than just level of emotions.

a lot of "emo"s or people who consider themselves "emo"s are just people who want to fit into that kind of stereotype whether they know it or not and usually dont have any more emotional problems in their lives than a lot of other people in the world who suck it up and move on.
but enough rambling... I think even if someone was a really emotional person, it might not have anything to do with lucid dreaming. LDs are more about control and awareness than emotion

So, where did you hear the statement? (I never try to be funny)

When I was in high school I would have probably been considered emo (this was in the late 1990's, before the "emo" lable). But not because of my clothes, but because I was genuinely emotionally f@cked up. Turned out I was bipolar.

To address the question, in my very limited experience (I am only one person) I have LDs a lot, and they DO seemed tied to emotional times. But not it the way you may expect. The more f$cked up emotionally I am the LESS LDs I recall, simply because I'm too distracted by my emotions to pay attention to anything else. So, there is my two cents.
