      Entering a WILD relaxation phase

i was reading this tutorial http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=9806

and in the relaxation phase, i was wondering about it,

do you just lay there relaxed, and pretend you are sleeping, but just repeat

"i will stay awake" and " i am going into a lucid dream" over and over? and eventually something happens?

because i tried it last night and nothing was happening so i gave up. but it was only for about 15-20 minutes. should i wait longer than that?

for my relaxation stage, i dont pretend im sleeping. i count my breaths and every 10 i tell myself this will be lucid. takes me anywhere from 5-10 minutes, but i usually meditate for like 20 minutes before i do it

when i meditate it depends on what purpose i am meditating for. if im meditating with the intent of LDing afterwards its usually about minor conflicts ive had through the day so they dont conflict with my dreaming, or i think merely whatever comes into my head. if im meditating for another purpose say to clear my head to work on homework, i simply stop thinking
