      Conducting a Lucidity Survey

I'm conducting a survey related to lucidity. For the sake of an unbiased survey, that's all the information you'll get now.

I'd also want people taking this test to have a basis of lucid dreams, and at least a few recent ones of their own. By recent I mean anything in the last year, but not one you had when you were 7.

This is a simple survey - just post a reply to this thread answering the following questions. Also, feel free to add any comments you may feel like.

      ----------------------------------------

Firstly, which is your age and gender?

If '0' is exclusively left-hand dominance, '6' is exclusively right-hand dominance, and '3' is equally dominant, which number are you? Also, which particular tasks do you do with each hand?

Are you a natural Lucid Dreamer or a learnt one?

From what age have you been lucid dreaming?

Can you have lucid dreams at will? With which technique (or is it spontaneous)?

Take a quick VAK test - which was the result?

Which is your lucidity frequency? Is it spontaneous, or do you have to work on it? What do you do to keep/increase that frequency?

Do you consider yourself creative? To what degree?

Do you consider yourself critical-thinking (rather than feeling-guided)? To what degree?

Can a dream you had influence you, even if you don't actually remember it? How deep can dreams influence your mood?

Do your dreams consist mostly of hopes (e.g. you kissing your crush), or realistic expectations (e.g. you being rejected by your crush)?

Do you find it hard to speak in lucid dreams? Do you find it hard to write or read in dreams? Can you usually remember exact words you said in a dream after waking up?

Do you find it hard to draw in lucid dreams? Can you increase the vividness of your lucid dreams? Do you see many distinctive colours? Is your dream sight blurred or well-defined?

How good is your dream control? Do you find it hard to control your dreamscape in a lucid dream? Can you do things by will?

Do you tend to dream of something that really happened to you, or something fictitious (including games, films, books and etc)?

      ------------------------------------------

Many many questions, I know. Thanks for anyone who takes time to take it. I'll post results once I have a minimal number of takers. Once again, thanks a lot.

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
