      Sensory Disconnection/Snapback

An interesting experience: I "wake up" in my bed. It's light out, I can see myself and the room well. Something in the "air" tells me I'm not actually awake, but things look real enough so I move my arm as a test. This is the interesting part: I feel my arm moving perfectly fine, but I don't see it. Tactile sensation is completely divorced from visual perception. When I notice this, proprioperception is reset to accord with visual.

I try other quick experiments, same result. For the OBE-ers out there, it's like I'm moving my astral body, but seeing the physical; and whenever I notice the discrepancy I snap back to what I'm seeing.

I even "closed my eyes" and roll straight across the bed, onto the bedside table, and off to the floor. it all felt perfectly real. Then I "open my eyes" and snap back.

      I dunno, pretty cool yeah?

Sounds like just a strange dream. When you woke up was your body in the position that you thought that it was?

Oh yes; I don't actually believe lucid dreams/ OBEs are any more than strange dreams, I just used it as a good metaphor.

      I was lucid throughout.
