      Losing Focus

At often times where I become consciously aware in a dream I will lose focus sometime after and I forget that I am in a dream. I was wondering if there was something I can do in order to prevent this.

Do you quickly forget you are dreaming or is is several minutes later? If you forget very soon you may want to just stand still for a moment and look around, admire the dreamscape and think about how this is a dream. If you see any people remind yourself they are DCs. A potential problem with this method it that some people are more prone to waking up when they are VERY aware they are dreaming.

If you forget several minutes later (probably when you get caught back up in the dream) I would also suggest taking a moment to simply acknowledge you are dreaming. Think about what you'd like to do in the dream, then do it. Try to think about things in a way that will remind you that you are dreaming.

      Hope this helps.

I see. Well, it's usually a few minutes after I become aware.
