Odd dreamsign problem...

Ok, first off since I never spontaniously do RC's in dreams (In real life I do whenever I am/going outside, using the restroom, or when somone upsets me) I resorted to looking for dream signs. One was <something I find innapropriate to mention> and the other was when my mom gets mad at me. (She oddly gets mad at me almost 100% of the time in dreams)

The first dream sign I have had occur in a dream at least once every 1-2 weeks, not a great ammount, but enough. Also this dream sign has been occuring for over two years, so it is quite regular. Right when I decided to use it as a dream sign I had a lucid dream, but then it stopped apearing in any dreams and it has now been over a month since I decided to use it as a dream sign. The second with my mom is similar, except I didn't have an LD. I had had "mom nightmares" (lol I know...) since I was very young. Now once I decide to use it as a dream sign, my mom doesn't even APEAR in my dreams anymore. This is odd because I actually had dreams with her in them QUITE frequently until then.

What is the problem here? Dream signs seem to be the only thing that work for me (so far) asside from the spontainious realisation that a dream is occuring. Yet once I set something as a dream sign it dissapears forever!

(If this is important, both the dream signs were things I wanted to stop dreaming about UNTIL I decided to use them as dream signs. It is almost like reverse psycology on myself. O_o )

EDIT: Whoops, just realised I posted this in the wrong forum... If a mod or somone sees this, can it be moved to the correct one?
