Is the potential of lucid dreams being fulfilled?

This is mainly for the people who are able to achieve lucidity and have enough control to you know, really control it. However anyone can comment, I havent had one that I know about yet.

What really gets me excited and what brought me here was the idea of learning and seeing unknown things. And I dont just mean stuff like flying to work and punching your boss only to have him stare are you. I mean seeing things like the banner above, and learning things like essense of soul made energy* without the pesky side effects of a frankenstein monster.

Imagine if some of the great thinkers of our time had lucid dreams of the type that would allow for such revelations. You would think that something amazing would come from them...wouldnt? Or are lucid dreams essentially the same as tripping from drugs?

Perhaps I just dont know what im talking about, and such things arent possible even in dreams. I mean what makes me think im going to discover some abstract truth in a dream. Can there be any truths in dreams? Well, im getting into a whole nother topic

So the question is, are you guys:

      A) not able to experience such things (due to the limits the human mind, or not being able to reach such a high level of control)
      B) have no desire and just want to fly around (im not knocking that, it sounds VERY appealing to me)
      C) a combination of those 2

Oh yeah, if you could be so kind as to also answer the question in the topic title

*(you see what I did there, I just made up something. Is there an essense of soul made energy? maybe and maybe not. And if you did find something like that would it make any sense to anyone other than your dream self? The point is the potential to find out)

P.S. please dont get hung up on any spelling or grammer mistakes

Einstein discovered general relativity theory through a daydream. Nikola Tesla, the father of the electric age, worked out all his invention to perfection through lucid dreaming. His stressed this as the best method of invention. Giordani Bruno discovered the whole working of the universe through his mind! He had no tools whatsoever, and his model of the universe 500 years ago, is what we use today, and only recently discovered (for example that each star is another solarsystem very similar to ours). He was burned at the stake for this. And almost all important inventions through history happened through daydreaming, or came to people in their dreams. So yeah theres alot of truth in dreams. Your brains are working in overdrive when you're dreaming/sleeping.

Anyway, it's after I read the autobiography of Nikola Tesla I got into lucid dreaming ^^ he convinced me of the endless possibilities..

But I think you need to be really good at lucid dreaming, I want to get to the point I don't have normal dreams anymore.. those are completely useless if you don't have control. Right now, I'm still far far away from this goal tho, and I only had a few lucids, so I can't really give anymore comment on this, but I find it a very interesting topic =P

I have just used my LD after a 40 mins of deep meditation to achieve a really powerful Kundalini awakening and repeated again twice.

Yes, the potential of LD to achieve spiritual and mental goals is endless.

You can use LD to simply fly around for fun or you can use it to hardness knowledge and experience which otherwise may take years to achieve. Its your choice.

Interesting, I wanted to say something like "What would have happened if someone like einstein had lucid dreams?" but I didnt know if those people did. I guess it turns out they did, and logical things were gained from them. I suppose my question was kind of silly, of course the potential is not being fulfilled. As long as there are things that are unanswered, the possibilities are always open.
