Thread: I never feel like having lucid dreams anymore...

What is funny is all I have to do is want one the day before and I get one. Well, lately I have not even tried to have one. I have been having interesting dreams at least, but not lucid. I guess I am too lazy to want to have one. I will probably go to sleep tonight not even thinking about having one. Aside from doing drugs or having sex I don't see much of a reason for lucid dreams. And if I have sex I usually wake myself up because I don't want to ut oh in my pants while I am asleep. And the last time I got drunk the beer was warm. Time before that it tasted like chicken. And then the bar tender wanted to kill me for not paying.

I think the last lucid dream I had was at least a week ago. Some people were trying to kill me so I stopped time completely. Then this locked door I pushed open without touching it.

Someone help me get some will power to have a lucid dream.

well, I'm not helping you. you don't seem to even care about LDing. if you're going to half-ass it, don't do it at all.

I ported myself to paris last night, but I ended up somewere in a pool or something, I asked a woman she said it was paris, did something wrong i gues, eventually I got stuck in limbo land..so didnt check..

We've been trying for a few weeks now. I'll give a hint.
As you are standing on the gound between the legs of the tower, face the Siene river. It is in front of the stairwell in the leg to your left.

Whoever finds it, gets to pick the next destination and leave an item!

Well, I went ahead and became lucid again. I did not tae complete control because I did not really want to. I saw in another post about seeing faces. I made sure to pay attention and yes there are faces. Everything looks as real as you see things while awake. Their faces even move when they talk. And I had no idea who some people were. Others were from my past.

In another dream I did at least make a plane and fly through the high school I went to if that counts for anything. I was lucid at the time. I wanted to get out of the school and that seems like a good idea. After I left I was running on foot towards my house... I thought about sex but decided not to. Was a waste if time. I guess maybe I don't want to wake myself up and ruin the dream. I can be half lucid for a long long time and not wake up.

Oh yeah, this is kind of funny. Before I posted, in the title I was going to post "Paperdoll need not apply" or something of that nature. Guess I was right about that. Anyways, I am sure I am at the point where I can take complete control. I can force time to stop in my dreams and do many other things.

Even in a dream last night I was making things appear just like I had trouble with in the past. I wanted some beer to get drunk in my dream. I made two six packs appear. Although it was this beer I did not really like.

What do you consider a full lucid dream. I mean not half assing it. What should I do for you to approve me? Try to have sex with every person I see? I can do that... I don't want to.

What is wrong with having half lucid dreams? I mean control some things here and there. Let it go where it wants, but add in what you think you should. It is like interacting with a movie.

You can do this, you can do that, just naturaly.. you can even stop time naturaly with your talent, is there anything you CANT do? I mean with all that shit man, I cant see why the hell your not having any form of enthousiasm about this, i mean usually people with such a talent can put this to use, you apearently cant?

I mean you dont have to have damn sex, use the dream to expand your mind, to beome spiritually enlighted,gain greater self knowdlge whatever i mean damn

I'm with paperdoll. If you don't want to LD then don't. No need for us to pat you in the back and urge you on. If all you try to do is have sex and do drugs than it is clear why you don't want to LD. I agree, don't try anymore becuase you are wasting your time just doing that.

Hold on, he's trying to do drugs in a lucid dream? Would that even work? Anyone tried it, what'd it do?

I think dreams would be the last place I would want to do drugs.....Drugs are to escape reality, and in a dream your already there. I'm interested in that item at the tower....I'm gonna try to get there, but my lucid dreams have been sparse.

Well, aside from creating objects, going places, doing things that are fun there is not much else you can do in a lucid dream. I am going to have another one tonight. But give me a topic. Something I will try to remember while in a lucid dream to do. Is it even possible to do anything greater than what we imagine? And if I plan on doing things like a previous poster said I should then I would meditate to achieve that. Dreams are for fun. There are not anything serious.

Try to change into an animal. Not many nights ago i did this for the first time. I went from being me walking around at 5' 11" down to about 2 feet i turned into a cougar or some cat and ran around it was different. I have not had the urge to do it again. Next time Im going to try something in the ocean... that would be cool.

seeker, what if you've never been to paris? how will you know where the eifel tower is or which way the river is?

Crucible, really, nothing personal, but Im turning my back on this, one with such talents should have some wisdom along side of it..if you find lucid dreams nothing special and are to "lazy" to even meditate or study some things then there is nothing I can do for you, just know that you are wasting your talents

Might seem harsh on my side, but thats the way of zen, with no will there is nothing, in fact I would even give you a negative advice and say quit the entire thing, mabey have sex and have fun if thats all in your eyes, but no more, one should want this on his own and should not be encouraged by others..

Lucius has apoint. Dreams are what you make of them. Dreams can be all just in your head, or they can be tools for exploration. I feel that using lucid dreams for just flying or fighting monsters or whatever is a waste of time. I feel pushing the limits of what can be done in a drean, such as manipulating matter is a step up, and speaking with your dream guides or your superconciousness is even better. But it all comes down to what you believe dreams are and what you belive spiritually.
