anyway, on topic, i usually let my mind drift off - i seem to be able to unlock a calm when i concentrate on a single person in my life i have become attuned to (e.g. my girlfriend) and drift off to sleep

About my reality check routine of course! What else would I be thinking of other than running through the reality check over and over again....
