      Hi,

try having a look in the "Dream Control" subsection of the forum. You should be able to look for relevant threads there. Or you could make a new one, asking for practical advice to prolong lucidity.

The main thing to remember if you want to stay lucid, is to interact with your dream environment. If you freeze or get too excited, you are likely to lose lucidity. Do something.

Spinning in a circle, and rubbing you hands together are also good techniques in prevention of premature lucidity.

If you are new to lucid dreaming I suggest you just don't worry about it. Trust me, you will have more and eventually you will stay relaxed and remain in your dream.

It's only natural to be excited when you feel yourself becoming lucid for the first time and this will wake many people. Just keep trying to stay relaxed. The worst thing you can do is worry about it because that will make you more likely to wake.

Be patient, you are nearly there

Really try to focus on the dream.. your surrounding as well. But for myself as someone has already posted, try Spinning in a circle it works the best.

      Good Luck!
