Yep, using LDs to face waking life fears and problems is a big reason to LD. It actually is the reason I became so involved in LDing.

Maybe you can try doing this a different way. Find a crowd of people in your dreams and speak out rules you don't like or something. As long as you're standing out in front of many people, the situation isn't different.
