Thread: Help! Fabricating people.

Try finding a door and telling yourself the person you want to see is in the room behind it. Open the door and viola, it should work. But you gotta believe!

That sounds like a good method, I'm gonna have to try it as well. The only experience I have with dream characters is the 15 second conversation I had with Napoleon Bonaparte. Not as interesting as it sounds - went something like "Wow, you're Napoleon." "Vous rêvez (you're dreaming)." "Yes." And then I went on about my dream before I woke up. Hardly a satisfying conversation with such a famous historical character.

However, now that I think about it, my old French teacher told me that a good measure of how fluent you are in a language is to see whether or not you dream in that language. That's something : ).

Its cool because some of these methods came natural to me, I never thought of the phone thing. But......the telling yourself that the person you want to see is behind a door or around a corner has worked a couple times for me. You should definately give either of those a try. Good luck.

Some good advice is given here. I tend to make the person I want in my dream appear behind me, then I turn around, and they are there. Though not always. Last night (a few hours ago, actually) I tried to summon my dad, but instead, I had summoned... a haystack.

Well, the other night when I was trying to make my friend come, I ended up with a cookie with a frosting face. It made me really annoyed, actually. But, with this new advice I shall try again!

The turn around thing worked for me before also. I thought of a motorcycle that I wanted to ride, then turned around and it was there. It was a piece of junk motorcycle but at least it was somthing.
I also remembered another way I've gotten people to appear in my dream. Once when I was unsuccessful at making a certain person appear, I approached an old lady running a booth selling cloths. I told her that she has to take me to this certain person, and if she did, I'd buy somthing from her. Sure enough she walked me into a building, up the stairs and into a room with my desired person.

I was trying to do the door thing last night, but I didn't want to use any old door so I was looking around rubbing my hands trying to find a clear spot on a wall to put a door. I couldn't find any >_< I wish I was able to find a place because the rest of the LD was quite horrific (killing bank robbers brutally >_<) lol

Second night in a row where I just didn't get lucid to try.
