      That Dreaming feeling

I'm just wondering how many of you just go through your dreams and get that feeling like your dreaming, so much so that you don't even need to preform a reality check cause you just know! I myself have had this happen on numerous accounts but wonder why it doesn't happen more often, and how often it occurs for others.

I havn't had an amazing number of LDs (prob around 50) but I've never gotten lucid from doing an actual reality check because I don't do them irl. Most of them i'll just suddenly realize that it's a dream. The only time I've ever done reality checks is to see if what everyone talks about on here actually works lol, like plugging your nose and breathing in through it or the finger through your palm.

thats what happened with my first LD, and my false awakening became a LD with that. I think its just the lack (or the different kind) of physical sensation on your body as a whole

yeah I do too. but when I induce WILD's via Binaural beats the dreams feel so real I wouldn't know it wasn't a dream if I wasn't already aware.

It's that dream feeling that makes me lucid. I pick up on it even if the dream seems very vivid and "realistic." For me it happens in around 99% of my dreams.

I guess its just has to do with the nature of being aware. You can be so caught up with life that you arent really aware that your living. but then when you stop and think, you are.

There is a specialy feeling to consciousness and moving in dream. Next time you are lucid look for these feelings. This will cause a burst of lucidity in the following days.

For me, I'll see something that is a little weird in a dream, and it'll trigger a really light / tingly feeling in my body that is a total giveaway that I'm dreaming. One time I got that feeling when I was awake and I freaked out though. I was 80% sure I was dreaming because of it, then my heard started to race which freaked me out even more. I thought I could hear someone in the other room and kept looking over to see who was there although it was no one. I'd say I almost went crazy that day. I guess the moral of the story is don't do drugs kids
