Anyone else scared to fly?

My main goal when becoming lucid is to fly as high as I can go. Even though I know I cant get hurt in dreams I am still scared to go too high. The highest I have been able to get is to the top of a tree. I do have a general fear of heights though Anyone else scared to fly or do anything else that could be frightening in their dreams?

What better a place to confront your fears than when dreaming. For me, flying is easy and I have been doing it in dreams for as long as I remember. I think the key is to just expect yourself to have full control of where you go, put your arms out like you're pretending to be a plane. My first flying dream was in a giant cost co looking building and I remember flying near the ceiling and being scared that I was going to hit the nails that stuck out (I wasn't lucid)
