Thread: Can we gain Control over dream without attaining Lucidity

It is unclear what you jmean when you gain control. IS it that certain things happen becuase you exoect them to happn, or do you conciously change the dream. Can you look at your hanhs at will? Can you move at will, like run in any direction you want? You may be in an in between state

Always I do something at will only at a certain time.

For example, in a dream I walk along a road within a beautiful garden. Then I saw a painter at the side of the road painting a picture of a tree. I was really amazed with the painting that I decide to have a careful look at the painting. Then I think I am doing something at will (not before that). Im looking at the painting in detail, spend some time, touching and holding it, until I was satisfied enough to leave it. I can still remember how does it looks (the painting) like. Then after that I was not doing things at will again (or maybe I just ignore it).

I sometimes hae dreams were I can shape the world but I dont know Im lucid so I gues its possible

sometimes, i put a situation in my head right before sleep, something that means alot to me, so control can come naturally, perhaps.
