Why would you want to use one for a WILD? I could see how using an alarm clock for a DEILD may work. |

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Some WILD tutorials suggest using an alarm clock to help you wake up during the night so you can do a WBTB (which is generally the easiest kind of WILD). With the WBTB, you are supposed to get awake and clear-headed anyway, so the alarm won't hurt. However, if you want to try to WILD without a WBTB I could see how the alarm would be really jarring. In that case try a cell phone alarm set on vibrate against your body, if you have one. |

Oh....I didn't think that you actually fall asleep when you WILD, so I thought there would be no point in an alarm because your mind is already awake in a way. At least thats what it feels like to me. |

When WILDing the goal is to have your body fall asleep while your mind remains awake -- that is how you enter a dream consciously. |
