      My first DEILD! somewhat traumatic...

This topic was moved (somewhat) by me by copying post and changing name, the name fits more, it's DEILD, not MILD. Could a mod please close the old topic at:

      Thanks,

Just got it tonight, I woke up, and decided to try it. You know, the technique where you wake up, and you WILD, and it is shorter, and you just go back into the dream lucid (DEILD). It was so awesome! Here is what I saw, in order:

(Note, all this seemed to happen withing 30 seconds upon closing my eyes)

      Lights
Lights surround a cobblestone path through an old city that just appeared
I feel a sinking sensation, my heart rate feels like it is pounding, then it feels like my blanket is closing in around me, like water.
I wake up in a path in Vietnam (odd, since I have never been there, but I do have a game that has it...) and am lucid.
Wake up a few hours later when it ends.

Thats it, forgot to do a RC, but I got it. It was awesome. Although, I do remember one thing. I had my first conscious SP. It was somewhat scary. I felt vibrations, and decided to open my eyes to end it, I could not. I tried to say something with my mouth, likely did not succeed (I heard something, but that was probably just in my head), then later on, heard the same thing.

This was AWESOME, but I was unable to WILD that morning. Dangit. I just gave up when it was taking such a long time. How long does it usually take you guys to WILD? I was sitting there about 30 minutes until the lights started.

      EDIT:
Just realized what it is called, DEILD! My first DEILD! WOOHOO!

Please post some feedback about what I can do better!
Does anyone else find it incredibly odd that out of ALL of the possible creatures on this earth, that most furries are either lupine, vulpine, or feline?

If you just woke from an REM period at around 4 am it could take 40 minutes to get into another, in which you would have a greater chance of success.

Actually, it is not really a WILD, right at the end of an REM period, you wake up normally, don't move at all, and fall right back, usually within 5 minutes, DEILD actually means Dream Entry Induced Lucid Dream
