      Calling All Dream Yogis-Yoginis!!

I have a growing interest in the tibetan dream yoga. I've heard so far, this is something that takes time. But I wouldn't mind trying out something long term and the rewards I want to reap aren't just about dreaming.

are there any dream yogis or yoginis around, and what are your experiences with it? I'm a total newb to it other than what I've heard of it on this forum.

Hi! I've been interested in this for a long time, but stayed with the normal western way of looking at the dreaming.
Two weeks ago someone posted a thread mentioning Yoga Nidra; http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=60953

Now I'm reading a book about Dream Yoga, and it's really helpful (you can find it in the link above). So we could say I'm an amateur dream yogini. And Dream Yoga is not only about your dreams, it's about karma and how you exist in this world. I like this whole buddhistic touch... and with the experience and knowledge from before I can see how this will take my awareness and lucidity to a whole other level.

      So, on with the question.

Dream Yoga is one of the 6 yogas of Naropa, one of the highest Buddhist Yoga Tantra. As such, it is not taught openly to the public. Few Tantric Buddhists know it. It requires Empowerment (blessing from an authentic guru) for one to be really successful in it.

If you ever come across its teachings written down anywhere, chances are, they are not the complete teachings as Dream Yoga is a secret teaching.

Check out E-Sangha forum and ask your questions there.
