      Close to ludicty?

Well yesterday night i had this odd dream where i was at a party... i wanted to make out with girls and apperently some guy started to chase me..(only snipits).

Well i also remember that i was in a room. And that i was thinking is this a dream? is this a lucid dream? but it was hard to remember anything else, i've had lots of dreams like this where my subconsious tells me but, i don't listen.

      Any help?

Sounds like you were close to lucidity. After all, you started to question if this was a (lucid) dream, you just failed to find the answer to the question during the dream.

Have you tried the DILD technique, using reality checks? My best advice would be to do a RC every time you start to wonder if you're dreaming or not. If you haven't already, you should check out the tutorial section, and read up on the RCs and DILDs.

Feel free to ask if this didn't clarify!

yea, I bet you were. Do RCs like luminous said, and also, when your subconscious is talking to you try and listen! If you do you can turn your dream around and kiss whoever you want....think of it that way ^_^.

      theownage,

Good work, you are well on your way. In my opinion: the ladder to lucidty looks something like this:

      HAZY DREAM
      NORMAL DREAM
      VIVID DREAM
DREAM WITH SELF REFLECTION (You ponder your existence, ask yourself questions)
      FALSE AWAKENINGS
      LUCID DREAM

Directed, comtemplative behavior within a dream is very important, and working those muscles will push you up the ladder of lucidity.

      Keep up the good work.
