Lucid Dreaming for Beginners by Mark McElroy

I didn;t know if this should go in Off-Topic>Entertainment>Books or here, but I posted it here because it has to do with LDs. THis may be old news to other people here (I don;t know, I'm pretty much still a newb at all this), but I found Lucid Dreaming for Beginners by Mark McElroy to be an excellent resource on LDs. Much of the information I found here was explained in the book, as well as explanations of things the people who post here already take for granted. I just thought that it would be a good book to mention here, in case anybody hadn;t heard of it.

Thanks for mentioning the book JET73L. I'll look into it if I ever need another resource besides the web.

I went to a bookstore a few days ago to get a book by LaBerge, but all they had was this book, so I bought it. Now, after reading it, I'm really glad I got it! It told me everything I wanted to know, and its humor made it entertaining as well as informative. So I recommend this book too, if you are new to lucid dreaming (like me).

I just purchased and have only read the first 26 pages of this book, but what I've read so far seems very legitimate and well presented. I'm actually liking this one better than LaBerge's (though I was not new to LDing when I began to read either).

I got another one too, haven't really started it yet. I read a few pages and it was enough to keep me from putting it back on the shelf, but didn't really have me turning the pages like this one does. Simple, legit, very straight-forward and this-is-not-a-new-age-subject; really seems excellent for beginners. I may not feel that way once I've finished, but I do so far!
