Hey DV. I know there are a lot of people who have problems remembering dreams, even right after they wake up, so I though I'd share my method.
Dream recall comes naturally to me and I remember at least one dream every night (though there are exceptions when I'm stressed or simply don't care what I dreamed.) I've been trying to figure out how I remember them so well, and it turns out it's because I'm not thinking about my dreams as if they're imaginary, I'm thinking about them as if they actually happened.
So basically, try to remember what you did last night, as if it actually happened in real life.
It seems to work for me. Hope it works for you!
