Why is my subconcious so pessimistic?

i was wondering, what makes our subconcious decide to make everything electrical fail? why is lightswitches not working such a common dream sign?

its not just electrical appliances, and your subconcious isnt pessimistic.
it just cant change the light setting,so lightswitches/other forms of light like a candle or lantern will not work,if they do the do not affect how dark/light it is.
and i dont know about you,but in my dreams electrical things work perfectly.

IMO, mechanics of a dream is very different. There's no electricity, there's no photons to light surfaces, it's all about ideas and expectations.

I belive it's possible to change light levels, but it will involve a lot of carefully phrased commands and rituals , not just a flip of a switch...

Exactly right. Ive changed light levels with voice commands before, but never with a switch. But I bet it's possible with a switch too.

Muse.v if after a long period of testing and experimenting the light switch doesnt work then try a next thing for a dream sign!
We are all individual different so for some this works and for others it wont.
so if it doesnt work after a real good time of testing, skip it and move on to the next dream signn. Else u just frustrate yourself.

      i rescently took a nap and had about 4-6 LD's (i now i Pwned. )

so anyway i tried to turn on the light, didn't work, so i ripped the cables out of the wall and threw them away, and i said: "next time, let the god damn lights go on..."

      LOL! way to go Krippe!
i reckon we all have different ideas and thoughts so for some it works and others not ect.. but i also think its got alot to do with what you have seen and how you percieve it. - your dreams are all made up by you - you cant dream of something that you dont already know something about. something along those lines anyway!!!!!!
