Thread: My Lucid Dream :)

OK, so last night I had the longest lucid dream Ive ever had. I am definately getting better and better at it, and every night my dreams get more vivid, and more and more of my dreams are involving me doing reality checks, or just have to do with lucid dreaming in general.

I was walking down a street ive never seen before, it was the night time but I could see perfectly around me. I was walking down the street and all of a sudden I started to stare at my hands. I looked down and tried to put my finger through my palm, and it worked. I instantly became lucid. I looked around the street and started to think about all the different things I could do. I saw a couple of kids riding bikes go past me, and I saw cars driving by. The street was very detailed..it was amazing
I then decided to try and fly. Ive never tried before. I tried to do the method where you try and jump higher and higher and eventually you can fly. So I started to run and as soon as I jumped, my shoe fell off and it distracted me from flying. I forgot I was trying to fly, and just continued on down the street. I then remembered that sometimes you can be fooled by reality checks, and the finger through palm could be fake. So I tried the breathing through your nose with it plugged (for the first time) and it worked, so I continued on, now fully aware its a dream. I then remembered how some people change the scenery by opening a door and imagining what will be on the other side. So I decided to try it.
I went up to a random house, and they had one of those doors where you first walk through a screen door into a small room where people usually put their shoes, and then you get to the main actual door of the house. So I opened the first door and noticed that the second door was glass and I could already see what was on the other side (damn it! lol). I saw a family all staring at me. I got embarrassed at first because I just walked into someones house who I dont know. I went to walk back outside, but then realized it was a dream, and I can do what I want , so I went back inside and opened the main door. I knew it was a dream, so I wanted to see what theyd say if I asked them if I could live there. So I said "Can I live here" to the people inside, and the father replied "Maybe". I then had a little conversation with them and walked out. The dream faded shortly after and I woke up in bed.

It was quite the experience. The dream didnt seem to fade at all during, and nothing out of the ordinary happened without me making it happen. I hope my next LD will be as stable and vivid

This was an attempted WILD after waking up in the morning, but I just fell asleep and ended up becoming lucid through an RC in the dream, by the way.
