Question Get a load of this!

      Wow...wow...wow.

That is all I can say.

About a week ago, I had this dream. When I look back at it now, I feel so retarted I didn't go lucid. This is how it went:

I was walking around, when bam! I was sucked through a vortex! When it stopped, I was in a strange land. I walked around, everything was the wrong color, but it still looked nice. It looked like some ancient ruin. I found a fat buddah-looking man (srry if i spelt it wrong). I asked him where I was. He said I was at the temple of lucid dreaming. (I still wasn't lucid at this point). He told me that I needed to unlock the secrets of lucid dreaming. I accecped the challenge. I walked around and found a mermaid. She taught me how to breathe underwater while lucid dreaming (I still wasn't lucid). It was really fun! Then I walked around some more. I came to this goust-looking thing. It taught me how to switch from moral to immoral while lucid dreaming. (Still not lucid) Then I came to this cave. Inside was a little podium. It had a book on it that said "The secrets to Lucid Dreaming" I walked over to it, and fell back into the vortex and landed back where I was before. Then I woke up.

Can you belive during all of this I never became lucid?!?! And yes, I had known about lucid dreaming about a year before this dream.

So. What do you think this dream means to me? Do you think it is actually a universal dream that many lucid dreamers get? If I had got to the book and read it, would that change the whole world of lucid dreaming? And my last question: was that a normal dream, or was it real

When I first started to get into LDing I had a few dreams (not FA's) where I would do reality checks and talk about LD's within the dream but didnt trigger me to become Lucid. So if your just getting into LD than its prolly heavy on your mind thats why it was all around your dream. If you read the book you might have noticed the text and letters changing to trigger you. And what do you mean normal dream or real? and universal changing the world?

That last part I think she was joking. Like she really DID get transported to that place RL an that book held the LD secret of the universe.
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?

I think it was your mind reinforcing the things you may have already learned about lucid dreaming, or it was your imagination creating things about lucid dreaming for you.

Either way, it sounded like a cool dream I wish I could have more like that.

It sounds like a really interesting dream even though you didn't become lucid. I've had some dreams where I completely should have been lucid but didn't ever become lucid, so I would say its normal.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, fondness makes the absence longer.
