Thread: Have you ever thought you were lding when you wasn't

I mean, you're only supposed to ask yourself that every time you do a reality check, but OK.

I had a feeling of thinking i am dreaming but i wasn't sure, it's so hard to explain....

Maby you have Schizophrenia. It's not normal that you feel like you're dreaming when you're not, unless you're on drugs.

I agree. It may not be schizophrenia, but you should probably see a professional for an evaluation.

If you were holding your nose yet still breathing, then you were dreaming
and it probably was lucid! The reason you could still breath is because
you werent actually holding your nose in reality. Not all things will work
correctly either....so that is why you couldnt stick your finger through
your hand but you could have achieved it eventually by thinking of other
ways to do it. It sounds to me as if you were so sure you werent dreaming
that your dream self wouldnt let the finger through. Next time try something
simple like levitate off the ground a few inches.....if you can do that then
there is no mistake your are dreaming. There is just no confusion at all
between dreaming and awake to me! Real life is completely and utterly clear.
Lucid dreaming is not........look around....youll see some things are off.

A few days ago, I was in the kitchen just a few minutes after waking up. When I put three pieces of ice in my glass of water, they attached at the ends to make a perfect triangular shape and it was quite beautiful. I was awe-struck by it's symmetry and realized- wait, I must be dreaming!- and did every reality check I could think of.

Well...what happened?? Were you dreaming?? I guess if you have to ask
yourself that question, then you are dreaming. Because in real life you
know damned well youre awake!

I was awake of course, it was a disappointment! I had just woken up and was super groggy, so it kind of seemed like a false awakening to me. If... it was a dream I think I would have telepathically floated the ice in the air and made it spin...

oh haha i guess i can see how you thought it was a dream because
you were groggy at the time....that makes sense. Very cool thing
for the ice to do in real life tho huh??
