Exclamation Was this an Out of body experience or a Lucid dream ?

      Hi everybody !

Something very strange happened to me not so long ago !

I was in the morning, i was waking up after 3 lucid dreams in a row.
I tried to re-enter them, but i couldn't, so i just layed on my bed, daydreaming.

Then , i remember reading somewhere that AV's (astral voyages) were easier to do in the morning. So i opened my eyes, to make sure that i don't fall asleep, i thought about trying a AV and before i even knew it, i felt like spinning really really fast while my body was still laying on the bed (so my body wasn't moving, but i felt like i was spining on the inside). My vision got blurred and i got confused and "lost" for a moment , not knowing what was actually happening...

I opened my eyes and looked around me ( yeah , my eyes were already open, but i had to open them again, i don't really understand how or why ) and i found myself standing next to my bed. My room was exactly the same, but i felt softer, lighter and everything was shining and seemt kinda "unnatural". I tied to touch the book on my night table and it worked (i didn't go through it) and there was a music playing in the background. i thought : " i'm doing an astral voyage! " and that's when i woke up, laying on my bed.
And i don't know why, but when i was standing next to my bed, i didn't think about looking ON my bed to see if m body was laying there because my shining room immediatly caught my attention.

I was happy of thinking that i could have done an astral voyage at first , but then i started to wonder if it was not rather a lucid dream, because i was so wanting to do an astral voyage that i could have imagined everything, plus i did do 3 Lucid dreams right before that, so it could have been one too...

So what do you all think ? Was this an astral voyage or rather a lucid dream?

To me LDing and out of body are the same thing. When that happens you
should just carry on with your dream from your bedroom. Just float up
through the ceiling and then fly away somewhere....or walk out of your
bedroom to the door to get out of the house if youre afraid of flying. You
are just starting a LD from ground zero is all.
In my opinion anyway. Thats how LDing always starts for me.

Astral Projection or Voyage and Lucid Dreaming are the same thing!
Years ago when i first started LDing, they called it Astral Projection
and not Lucid Dreaming. I always project out of my body first and
then start a voyage to somewhere i want to go or want to try. Its all
a lucid dream, and when i look at my bed i am always still lying there.
The night before last, when i LDed, i left my bedroom and then flew
to a lake to try an underwater experience. I hadnt thought to try
that before and im here to get new ideas to try in my LDs

Well, like you, i feel a funny kind of spinning sensation when my LD begins.
I call it a shift now. It is always the same for me. Then i just kind of let the
LD happen. Next time you feel this spinning sensation, just go with it. I always
say that it feels like i push my dream body out of my real body until i am
in the air floating above myself or standing on the floor...........then i fly
out of the house and go do something. For me they just happen and i dont
      try and induce them.
I always recognize the shift tho and then i help myself get into the LD.
Just go with it the next time it happens. Try to walk through the walls to
outside, or walk to a door and open it to get outside, or fly through a window
like i always do. Then go and do something fun! At first i used to fly as high as
i could and do fantastic dives in the sky and just speed past the tops of
trees for miles. I read in here that youre not supposed to try that right
away, but i did. I knew i was asleep in my bed and that i was LDing and i
knew i wouldnt be hurt so i just did it. It was a little scary at first but it
was so exhilarating that i kept on doing it whenever i LDed and then later
i progressed to trying other things.
