Well.... I'd only do it forever if the scene makes it consistently into my dreams. I said 'forever' because it may take a long time for it to happen.

Lies. If you put the emotion, thought, imagination in it..you should get it within days...i should know..something had happened to me emotionally and i could not get it off of my mind and i had a dream involving that for days on end..it took me a WHILE before i got over it...

if you just put feeling, emotion, thought, etc. etc..then you will dream about that.

if you search for incubation then you should find a topic where someone posts a link to a site that gives wonderful information on how to do it...
