First WILD

Finally, after over 3 years of knowing about LDs I came to the point where I had my first WILD. Funny thing is that it was accidental.

Woke up in the middle of the night. Still tired and wanting to go back to sleep, I close my eyes again. Then I start thinking a few things while my mind drifts off, and all of a sudden I feel my muscles locking up and I got that weird tingling surge. I was prepared this time, after experiencing SP once and almost having a WILD. As the tingling feeling stopped, like I expected, it felt like I was free-falling. This time I didn't let the feeling frighten me, instead I reminded myself that nothing bad will happen.

Suddenly, everything went from pitch black to the vision of me falling onto grass. I looked around me, and it was just a whole field of grass during daytime. Of course I was lucid, remembering how I just got here.

It's nice to finally say that I've experienced a WILD. ^_^

That sounds to me like a DEILD, which is a kind of WILD. A DEILD (or dream exit initiated LD) is a WILD that is done during a period of sleeping when you wake up. It is a way to extend one REM cycle into another. I love DEILD.
