      is this a wild?

alright i have a basic understanding of what a wild is, but a LD that happened last night leaves me confused. at around 3 or 4 last night power went out and i woke because my bed got too hot. i stayed up for about an hour, then the power came back on and i then tryed to sleep. i didnt go into sp, or fall through the bed or anything, but the next thing i know i was dreaming, and i knew i was dreaming from the start. would that be a wild, or just a lucky dild that happened at the beginning?

It depends, if you stayed completely conscious during the transition to the dream and being awake it would be a WILD. It's pretty hard to tell sometimes, usualy what happens is you sort of go off on a train of thought and the next thing you know your dreaming.

You probably had some degree of conscious but we always always have some degree of conscious, it's a very thick line between a WILD and a non-WILD.

BullsEye. Conkeen is, in a way, right too.
That happens a lot whether you're intentionally WILDing or not. When I WILD, alot of times, I would loose my consciousness at the last minute and then regain right when I enter the dream.
