I've seen everyone talking about Dream Guides..what exactly are they?

There are two kinds of Dream Guides (DGs) here on dream views.

I am the first kind. We are people who greet newbies, answer questions, and help keep the site running smoothly. We have green stars under our names.

The second kind are in-dream DGs. These are dream characters who are unusually helpful and wise. Many people have recurring DGs, meaning they show up over and over in their dreams. A lot of the time a DG knows everything that you know. Often they have insight that can help you.

So they are basically our subconcious?

Essentially they can be looked at as that, however some believe that they are much more than that.
