My journey to have a WILD lucid dream(please help me)

Well welcome to my adventure I will be posting all my attempts to have a Lucid Dream by WILD. It will be of trial and error until I get it. I hope people will look at it and get some information. Also if you could in anyway help me it would be greatly appreciated!

Well this is my first attempt tell me what I did wrong. So I put a sleeping mask on and I laid down. I listened to this humming and the highway thats right next to us. Pretty soon I was really tingly. Everything except my shoulders was heavy. why I couldn't see any hypnogic images?(please answer) Then I felt like i was spinning and being shaken back and forth.(please explain why that was happening). Then counted back from 100. I was also hearing just random noises. Some scared me like someone walking upstairs. Then I got up because I was dissapointed and bored. After that it felt like every muscle had just fallen asleep. Thankyou for reading!

      So here are my questions:

Why didn't i see the images?
Why was being shaken and everything
Was i close to a lucid dream?

Thankyou for Reading this extremely long post!

I'm not a pro at WILDs, I prefer DILDs + MILDs, but I'll try and help.
You may not have seen the images because you had a sleeping mask on?
I dunno why the shaking happens, but last time I tried a WILD, I felt like i was being shaken too, but more like vibrating like a cellphone.
And you mayhave been close, you just have to be patient.

The spinning, shaking, and random noises are traditional Sleep Paralysis and auditory hypnagogia experiences.

And you would have seen them with/without a sleep mask. Your physical eyes aren't responsible for HI, I mean think about it... usually your eyes are shut when you see HI...

I may be incorrect, but I don't think everyone has the same experience when trying to WILD. Some experience HI while others don't.

The shaking and noises meant that you were in Sleep Paralysis which suggests that you were very close to a LD.
