Thread: Conjoined dreams?

I got back from a 2 week holiday a couple days ago and for about 5 or 6 days of that holiday the dreams I had always continued themselves and had the same theme to them. Anyone know why this could happen ?

Dreams are cool in that they are often random associations based on what has been on your mind and what event, object, person, place, etc caused the strongest emotions for you.

I suspect you thought about the first dream more than you usually think about your dreams. Then, probably randomly, your brain decided to revisit that dream since it got extra attention. This caught your attention even more, and lead to the dream / theme continuing even stronger.

Well I agree that theyre very random at times but I didnt think about them much only about 5 min when I woke up and that was it for the rest of the day but it continued the following night :S
