      Question Kind Of A Poll

Ok, I have a QUESTION. Alright I am a modern arnis (karate) student, and I was curios as to how many of you think that if you practice your moves in a LD, if you would get better in real life?

      for short: yes!
      LD goals:
      - fire- [*DONE*], water-, earth- and airbending
      - running up a skyscrapper
      - flying
LDs total: (some in my childhood, but) 3

I'd say it depends. A part of the whole idea of your practice is to repeat moves so often that their execution becomes ingrained in your mind. Doing it in your sleep should contribute to that, yet only if the dream is realistic enough for you to be able to perform the moves properly. Since you're doing them on a regular basis in real life, though, you should have a good idea of how they feel and this shouldn't pose much of a problem. I've also read about some research which showed an increase in the muscle mass of people who were just thinking about performing an exercise for 20 minutes each day. I don't know how or if that translates into dreams (I assume those people were moving their muscles slightly without realizing it), but it could be an additional beneficial factor to consider.
