No no no, you've got it all wrong. The freemasons and their ancestors (Xenu being the oldest traced one...) are the ones who originally grounded us in our earthly bodies to receive ancient Egyptian treasures. Lucid dreaming is an escape originally contructed by the heavenly beings of Alpha Centauri to assist the Non Masonian people of Earth to escape their earthly bodies. The reason why it has taken until modern times to discover lucid dreaming is that the Centaurians originally beamed it to us at the dawn of man and the freemasons and due to restrictions on speed imposed by Albert Einstein (a well known freemason) it took the universal thoughtwaves that long to get here. In 2012 The Centaurians will return to earth and free us from our bodies, where we will have a battle with the Freemasons in the dream dimension.

But seriously? Lucid dreaming isn't present in the media much because:
1. It's too hard.
2. There's more important stuff going on.
