OMG !!!!! LOL....... ( ) i have this blanket that just happens to live by my bed and i have when i go to sleep at night sometimes, the only problem is... ive developed a sort of mental block! i cant seem to fall asleep without it, and if i do then i wake up really easily!!!!! The main problem is that when i try to attempt a W.I.L.D. i cant relax very well and because i havent the usual 'blankie' to hold on to, my hands feel empty and i get all these tiny litle tickles and i start to fidget. any advice!???? oh and just for the record, im 18 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may sound strange, but Im serious about this. My advice would be to hold on to that blankie and sleep with it every night. Its nice to find comfort in something like that, and I see no reason to part with it.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it. some of my friends have one and even i have one, but i dont sleep with it like you. I mean its on my bed, but by the end of the night it's either on the floor or at the bottom of the bed just sitting there. If it really makes you that comfortable then just sleep with it

SOB! i use to have 2 my brother burned one... and the other the cat and dog tore to shreds..... I WANT A BLANKIE!!!! lol No i'm not mocking you i have a bear my grandmother gave me as i kid...but i moved and it got lost.......i use to sleep with it everynight to....i miss my bear.....sigh and i'm 19.....

i used to have this blanket that had soft corners which i would rub on my face for comfort and suck my thumb... i finally broke the habit at like 8 or 9 tho...

I used to have a blankie that i would either wrap around my feet to stop monsties from nibblin me toes off, or around my neck to stop vampires and such. It had this nice smooth edge to it that was always cool in the summer. Very pleasing to the touch. I eventually got rid of it and have kept it away in some draw as a keepsake.

great! im glad im not the only one.. and it seems some of you like the feel of something in particular (or used to!!) and mine is the edge on my blankie!! its so great! apparently ever since i was born i used to hold the edge of a pillow case between my fingers as i went to sleep! and i sill do it!! (blankie is a pillow case! but its not like eighteen years old LOL)!!!!

I used to have a pink panther with a scraggly tail. Used to suck 2 of my fingers instead of my thumb, and tickle myself in the face with the tail Also became quite a bit like the blankie situation.... Yeah.. I know ... I'm wierd

k this is what i think try to keep the blanket with you when you try to sleep. or try to get out of the habbit now if you where a guy and older than 14 you would be laughed at for this but girls can do this becouse its a girl thing to us guys

yeeeeeah I would definately suggest you wane yourself off of it, and try holding a pillow instead, that being one of the reasons...it would be much easier to find an extra pillow if you go somewhere else instead of carrying a particular blanket with you everywhere
