Near full moon and after dreams are awesome

I have read many times before and am really noticing how the moon seems to make for great dreaming.

To most people here this is may be old news. Just thought id see if it just wasnt me.

I've noticed around a full moon that my dreams become more frequent and i seem to remember them better as well.
These are the tears that I dream about...

i've noticed that my recall and lucidity get better or worse in stages, but i'd never thought to compare it to the moon cycles. a google searched returned info that said that transformation, fertility, and psychic strengthening during the 7 day full moon period.

      hmm, that's an interesting idea.
I'm actually in a rut right now. I've been waking up with no problems, but the last few days I haven't remembered anything. It's bizarre because not waking up is usually the only thing that hinders my recall...waking up proved to be the only challenge (albeit a small one), but now I wake up like usual but still without remembering....I've never had this sort of dry spell...
What's really frustrating is that a friend of mind has been telling me about these dreams she's having with me in them. But I don't know if they're shared or not because I haven't been remembering mine!

Come to think of it though...aren't we actually approaching a new moon?..rather than full?

The moon, like many other things can function as a placebo.. if ur a nutty(like me) and believe the moon shall give you extra power, then it will, if you believe jack shit, well then it wont

The gist of it is thus:

"Numerous studies have tried to find lunar effects. So far, the studies have failed to establish much of interest. Lunar effects that have been found have little or nothing to do with human behavior, e.g., the discovery of a slight effect of the moon on global temperature,* which in turn might have an effect on the growth of plants."

      And then there's this:

"[...] the studies have failed to show a reliable and significant correlation (i.e., one not likely due to chance) between the full moon, or any other phase of the moon, and each of the following:

      -the homicide rate
      -traffic accidents
-crisis calls to police or fire stations
      -domestic violence
      -births of babies
      -suicide
      -major disasters
      -casino payout rates
      -assassinations
      -kidnappings
      -aggression by professional hockey players
      -violence in prisons
-psychiatric admissions [one study found admissions were lowest during a full moon]
-agitated behavior by nursing home residents
      -assaults
      -gunshot wounds
      -stabbings
      -emergency room admissions [but see]
-behavioral outbursts of psychologically challenged rural adults
      -lycanthropy
      -vampirism
      -alcoholism
      -sleep walking
      -epileps"

But hey, dreaming's not on the list, so there's always a chance...

isn't it so funny that something so romantic could 'inflict' some courses of behaviour that is destructive?
